Who are we?
We are Gerard and Anja van Loon
Originally from Drunen in Brabant, with a great love for Italy. Every year we explored another part of the “boot,” each time sighing… how wonderful it would be to live here and start a B&B! In 2017, we decided to simply go for it: to emigrate to Italy. That’s when the search began. Where in Italy? So many beautiful villages, cities, beaches, and of course the delicious food… Eventually, we ended up in southern Italy, in the region of Puglia, where we found a fantastic Masseria (farmhouse) that immediately captured our hearts: “This is it, this is where we want to live.”
At our Masseria, we would love for you to experience la dolce vita — with a touch of Brabant hospitality.
